Hand-Dyed Hues
The Hand-dyed Hues range of hand-dyed embroidery threads have been enjoyed by many traditional and creative embroiderers since 1993.

They come in 3 sizes of quality thread ie: DMC Perle cotton 12, 8 and 5. All have at least 3 dye colour combinations but with the wet dyes merging there are extra subtle colours which are unexpected and unique.

Each skein has 20 metres and the dyeing processes are strictly followed so that subsequent batches are near-perfect repeats.

They are wash and light tested but are best washed in cold water and kept away from strong sunlight. If there is any bleeding of colours (very rare, and this also applies to other makes/brands of dyed threads, commerical and hand-dyed) soak fabric in ice cold water, remove and run an ice cube over the area and replace in fresh iced water to soak; repeat until area is clear of dye.

Number Codes have the type of threads first ie. Perle 12 = 12; Perle 8 = 8; Perle 5 = 5.

The full range is numbered from 01 to 27. A typical number is 1203 = Perle 12, colours 03.
